In 2024, as India’s only nominee, he was given the most prestigious award in Humanitarian Dermatology by the International League of Dermatology Societies (ILDS),, an arm of WHO and consisting of dermatologists from ~200 nations. He was Asia’s only winner in humanitarian dermatology. All 22 Board of Director members voted for him unanimously to receive this prestigious award.
